To disable inserting and displaying videos and websites in the Poll Everywhere app for Windows you will need to edit the app’s registry entry and add a DWORD key named WebContent with a value of 0.
When the Poll Everywhere registry key is set to 1 (or anything other than 0), video and website slides will be displayed.
For a 64 bit install of PowerPoint, the registry key should be located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Poll Everywhere
For a 32 bit install of PowerPoint, the registry key should be located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Poll Everywhere
Helpful tip: If you are missing the Poll Everywhere directory in either \Wow6432Node or \Software, you will need to create it before creating the DWORD key.
