The quickest way to display an activity to an audience is directly from the website in Present mode. This hides all other settings and browser buttons so that only the current activity displays on the screen. Presenting your activity in Present mode will automatically activate the activity.
Helpful tip: Poll Everywhere works best when visualizations are displayed on a projector, large screen, or when screen sharing on a video conferencing software.
To display an activity in Present mode
Step 1. Select an activity from the Activities page by clicking the title. This will take you to the Activity slide.
Step 2. Click Present on the top right to enter Present mode. This will enter into full screen and activate the activity.
Helpful tip: The Presentation control buttons will fade to the background when you are presenting in Present mode. Click anywhere on the slide to bring them back up.
Step 3. You can move between the activities in the Activities list by pressing the Tab then arrow keys on your keyboard or the navigation buttons at the bottom left of the Presentation controls.
Step 4. To exit Present mode, press the Escape key on your keyboard or press the Exit button on the right of the presentation controls.
Helpful tip: If you want to stay in Present mode and pause your activity, you can click Lock to stop new responses. Locking an activity allows the audience to see the activity on your presenter page, but prevents them from responding until you unlock it.
