Deleting an activity removes it from the folder and places it in the Trash. (If you change your mind or make a mistake, it’s easy to restore an activity from the Trash. The responses are also restored along with the activity.)
Step 1: From within the presentation, click on Insert > Activity:
After you click Insert > Activity, a pop-up is displayed:
Step 2: Click on the folder where the activity is stored.
Step 3: Click on the checkbox to the left of each activity you want to delete.
Step 4: Click the More button and select “Move to trash” from the top bar:
Poll Everywhere immediately removes the activity.
Made a mistake? If you want to “un-delete” the activity, keep reading…
Restoring a Deleted Activity
Poll Everywhere knows that to err is human, so if you accidentally delete an activity (or change your mind, which is also human), you can pull it out of the Trash.
Step 1: From within the presentation, click on Insert > Activity.
Step 2: Go to the Activities tab.
Step 3: Click on the Trash icon at the bottom of the folder list. If you have a lot of folders, you may need to scroll down to see the Trash icon.
Step 4: In the Trash, the deleted activities are listed with the most recently deleted at the top. Check the box of the activity you want to restore.
Helpful Tip: You can click more than one activity to restore or even check all of the boxes with the “Select all” button.
Step 5: Click the Move button.
Step 6: From the list of folders, select the destination folder (where you want to move the activities).
Optionally, if you want to create a new folder in which to store the activity, click “Create folder.” Poll Everywhere creates an “Untitled” folder and displays a message (similar to below) asking you to confirm the move.
Step 7: Select the “Start moving” button in the center of the screen.
