    The Poll Everywhere for MacOS presentation app works with both PowerPoint and Keynote. Because the app runs alongside PowerPoint and Keynote, there is no real difference between using it with either software. You have the freedom to choose which slideware application you wish to use. You need to use Microsoft PowerPoint 2011 or higher for Mac, or Keynote 5.3, 6.5 or higher (Note: Keynote 6.2 is not supported).

    Here are some helpful tips when using the Poll Everywhere for MacOS presentation app:

    • Do have both the Poll Everywhere app and your slide presentation software (PowerPoint or Keynote) running.
    • Do not have both PowerPoint and Keynote running at the same time. Pick one and make sure the other application is closed.
