Keyboard shortcuts and clicker support
You can bind poll activation and deactivation to a keyboard shortcut or presentation clicker.
- Open Configurations → Key bindings.
- Choose the activation/deactivation action.
- When prompted, press a key or clicker button.
Once set, you can activate and deactivate polls without clicking the on-screen control.
Assign clicker button → advance slide → activate poll → deactivate using clicker
This works even if the app is not currently showing a “Ready to activate” state.
Multi-display configuration
You can control:
- Which displays the app scans for Poll Everywhere Live App QR codes
- Which display shows the floating Poll Everywhere Live App UI
This is ideal for:
- Presenter notes on one screen
- Projected slides on another
- Keeping the Poll Everywhere Live App UI hidden from the audience
You can mix and match these settings depending on your presentation setup.
Learn panel
The Learn panel provides a basic overview of how the Poll Everywhere Live App works. This area will expand with tutorials and videos.
You can find Learn by right-clicking the icon in your menu bar and selecting Learn.

The Poll Everywhere Live App is currently under active development.
