Some users presenting polls on a 1080p monitor with Windows Presenter have encountered an issue where web content appears too large, extending beyond the intended viewport.
While a complete fix for all scaling settings is not yet available, we’re actively working on a long-term solution. In the meantime, a new setting has been added to help users force the content to fit within the display.
To adjust the setting (for versions 4.2.0–4.2.2):
-
In the PowerPoint Poll Everywhere Tab, Navigate to the Settings menu and select Display.
-
Click Enable Force Autofit, and hit save. This option automatically resizes the web content to fit 1920x1080 displays, which many users continue to use. A blue link will be added to this article for additional information once it’s available.
-
Restart PowerPoint to apply the changes.
After enabling Force Autofit, content should adjust to fit properly on your 1920x1080 monitor.
Please note: This adjustment is designed to resolve issues when the primary monitor is set to 150% scaling and the presentation monitor to 100% scaling. Higher scaling settings may not perform as expected.
The Force Autofit option is not available in versions 4.3.0 and later.
