Organization settings allow account owners and admins to manage users, subscriptions, LMS integrations, feature access, and compliance settings across their organization. These settings apply to all users under your plan and are designed to keep your workspace secure, efficient, and aligned with institutional policies.
Who can access Organization Settings?
Access depends on your account role:
Organization Owners: Full access to all settings, including billing, user management, and integrations
Organization Administrators: Most settings, including user and integration management (no billing access)
Self-paid users (individual plan holders): Full access to their own settings
Users under a paid organization: No access to organization settings
Managed enterprise users: Access is controlled by your IT or account admin
If you're unsure of your role, check with your organization’s owner or administrator.
How to access your Organization Settings
Sign in at polleverywhere.com
Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner
Select Organization Settings
Once inside, you’ll see tabs to manage users, plan and billing, LMS integrations, authentication options, and feature controls.
Managing users in your organization
The User Management tab lets you view all users in your organization, including their:
Name and email address
Assigned role (admin, presenter, participant, etc.)
Last activity
Status (active or inactive)
License usage
You can filter the list by role or search by name or email.
Adding users
You can add users in three ways:
Manual add – Add users one at a time by entering their email address, selecting their role, and sending an invitation.
Bulk import – Upload a CSV file to add users in bulk. The system will help you map columns and confirm roles before import.
Domain auto-join – Configure your organization's email domain so that new users with matching emails are automatically added. You can assign default roles and permissions without sending invites.

Managing existing users
From the User Management page, you can:
Edit a user’s role or permissions by clicking their name
Suspend a user to temporarily remove access (without deleting their content)
Remove a user to permanently revoke access. This will transfer ownership of their content and cannot be undone. We recommend notifying the user before removing them.
Suspended users free up license seats but can be reactivated later if needed.
Billing and subscription management
In the Plan and Billing tab, you can manage your subscription plan:
View your current plan and renewal date
Track how many licenses are in use
Update your payment method
View cost breakdowns by department or team (if using cost centers)
We supports department-based billing for organizations that need to allocate costs to specific units.
LMS integration and LTI configuration
For educational institutions, you can configure LMS integration under the LMS Connections tab:
Connect your LMS via LTI (e.g., Canvas, Brightspace)
Set up grade passback and roster sync
Map user roles and attributes
Test and confirm integration setup
LTI support ensures a smooth sync between Poll Everywhere and your LMS, enabling instructors to create assignments and sync grades efficiently.

Authentication and security (roadmap)
Support for custom authentication methods is in development. Once available, you'll be able to configure:
Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, or custom IdPs
Active Directory integration for managed access
Organization-wide enforcement of secure login policies
Admins will be able to choose a provider, enter required credentials, test the connection, and enable SSO across the organization.
Upcoming: Content and sharing policies
In the near future, you'll be able to set restrictions across your organization for:
Allowed question types
Response methods (e.g., anonymous vs. identified)
Sharing permissions (e.g., private, team-only, public)
More external integrations and exports
These features are designed to help organizations maintain content standards and meet compliance requirements.
