Poll Everywhere's attendance feature lets you verify participant presence using device-based geolocation. To use this effectively, you'll need to create one or more Teaching Locations that correspond to your physical classroom or event space. Teaching Locations serve as geofenced zones where participants can check in to verify physical attendance. Each location includes an address and a customizable check-in radius.
Once your location is created, you can use it when launching attendance questions. The system will verify that participants are physically within the radius you’ve defined.
The Video guide walks you through creating a location that participants can check into during an attendance session.
