Poll Everywhere 2.0 gives you the flexibility to tailor reports so they highlight the most important data for your needs, whether that's attendance, engagement, or scores. You can control which columns appear, reorder the layout, apply filters, and save multiple custom views for reuse.
Accessing and Editing a Saved Report View
Once you've created and saved a report, it will appear in the Saved Reporting Views section. Simply click on the report name to open it. From there, you can begin customizing how the data is displayed.
Customizing Columns and Filters
In the report view, you’ll see a Column filter icon in the top right. Clicking this will open the filter and column options.
You can uncheck any data points you don’t need, such as participant screen names or timestamps, and add others like attendance, scores, or response metadata. Any adjustments you make will instantly update the view, giving you control over what’s included in the report.
Rearranging the Layout
Columns can be repositioned to reflect the priorities of your analysis. You can either:
Drag columns directly in the report view to a new location
Or adjust the order in the filter/column settings sidebar using drag handles
For example, if you want attendance to be the first column in the table, you can move it to the top of the list or far left of the report. This is especially useful when sharing reports with stakeholders who need to quickly identify specific types of data.
Saving a New View
After making changes, save them as a new view to preserve your custom setup. Use the Save as new view option and give it a clear, descriptive name—such as “Quiz Results – October 2025” or “Attendance View – Week 3”.
Your saved view will now appear in the reporting section and can be revisited or edited at any time.
Why Use Saved Views?
Custom views streamline repeated reporting tasks. For example:
Instructors can save one view for attendance and another for quiz results
Admins can create filtered views by course, team, or time period
Reports can be quickly adjusted for internal tracking or sharing with leadership
Each view keeps its own filters, layout, and column choices intact, helping you save time while maintaining consistency.
