Browser extensions usually update automatically in the background, but there are times when you may need to force an update manually.
Update the Extension in Google Chrome
Step 1. In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
Step 2. Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle in the top-right corner of the page. The toggle will turn blue/green when active, and three new buttons will appear at the top-left: Load unpacked, Pack extension, and Update.
Step 3. Click the Update button. Chrome will check for and install the latest version of all installed extensions, including Poll Everywhere for Google Slides. Once the update completes, you can turn Developer mode back off if you prefer. Reload Google Slides in your browser.
Update the Extension in Microsoft Edge
Step 1. In Edge, go to edge://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
Step 2. Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle on the left sidebar. The toggle will turn blue/green when active, and an Update button will appear at the top of the page.
Step 3. Click Update. Edge will check for and install the latest version of all installed extensions, including Poll Everywhere for Google Slides. Once the update completes, you can turn Developer mode back off. Reload Google Slides in your browser.
If you've updated the extension and are still experiencing problems, try removing and reinstalling it:

- Edge: Installing the Poll Everywhere for Google Slides Extension in Microsoft Edge
