2.0 fully supports LaTeX formulas, allowing presenters to include mathematical equations and expressions throughout an activity. Formulas render cleanly and consistently for both presenters and participants.
You can use LaTeX in question titles and choices, making this feature ideal for STEM courses, technical training, and data-driven presentations. LaTeX is written using math delimiters:
Displayed (block) math:
$$ ... $$or\[ ... \]Inline math:
\( ... \)
For full syntax reference, please refer to the official documentation: MathJax for LaTeX rendering

The LaTeX will be displayed on the Question slide and the response page for the audience to respond through the web from their device.

Where You Can Use LaTeX
LaTeX formulas can be added anywhere rich text is supported, including:

How LaTeX Rendering Works
When you type LaTeX in a question title or choice, you can switch between the raw LaTeX and a typeset preview using the Preview toggle. This lets you confirm your equation looks right before presenting.
In edit mode, you’re offered a Preview toggle. In present mode, LaTeX is automatically typeset for you and your audience.
Examples: Inline math
You can include math directly within a sentence:
How many digits of \( \pi \) do you know?
Helpful tips: “Type LaTeX, then use Preview to see the formatted equation while editing.”
For larger equations, use display-style formatting:
$$ x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a} $$
These formulas render cleanly for participants and scale appropriately within the activity layout.
Best Practices
Use inline math for short expressions within text.
Use display math for longer or more complex equations.
Combine LaTeX with rich text or Markdown formatting to improve readability.
Preview activities before presenting to confirm layout and spacing.
LaTeX formula works across all supported activity types and response options.
