In this article:
Collaborate with your teammates to moderate the responses to Word cloud, Open-ended, and Q&A activities before they are shown on the screen.
With Shared moderation, you can focus on your content by sharing a unique moderation link with another presenter. While you discuss the responses, they can select the ones that appear live on your slide.
There are two levels at which presenters can moderate collaboratively: if they are on the same Team, or if they are on your account.
Enabling Shared moderation for Teams
To enable Shared moderation at the Team level, start by adding a group of presenters to a Team.
Under the Moderation tab of an individual activity, click on the "Open moderation" link.
To enable moderation, toggle the moderate responses button . Presenters can select “Allow presenters on your Team to moderate” and share the link with a teammate.
Enabling Shared moderation for everyone on your account
You could also allow all presenters on your account to moderate an activity. Presenters will need to select “Allow presenters on your account to moderate” and share the link with any presenter on their account, even if they are not on the same Team.
How Shared moderation works
Once enabled, moderators can click the Hidden/Visible toggle to approve a response or leave it hidden from the screen. The responses will display on the Live Text Wall, spotlight, Word Cloud, or Q&A. Nothing will display on the screen unless they choose to make it visible.
If you are presenting from a single screen (e.g., on a single laptop with no switcher) you or a teammate can log in from a second computer to moderate responses, or you can approve responses on your smartphone or web-enabled device using the Poll Everywhere Presenter app for iOS and Android. The approved responses display on the activity you are presenting.
